The more clarity around the vision of the future that you have, the stronger your commitment is. I remember when I started my wake up at 5am, do +1 pushup, situp, squat and run routine started. The key ingredient was a vision of the future. I imagined in 365 days from that point what exactly I would look like, act like, how I would feel, what I would be doing, and even what I would be wearing. I had a crisp and clear vision of the future.
This is what drove me to keep the commitment for the first 50 or so days. Now it is just habit.
The more you can see the future, the stronger that you will be in the moment. If you are feeling weak the best thing that you can do is to relax, take some time to yourself, and spend a good 2 hours or so and contemplate exactly what you are going to be like in 365 days from now.
Then ask yourself, exactly what critical thing should I be doing everyday to get me to that vision. That is when you will find strength.
