The 365 Commitment

Who Am I?

This was a question that was popularized by the new age crowd in the 70s and for a while after it was made fun of. What used to be a common phrase about pondering self purpose has seemly dissapeared from society. Who am I? This is referred to as one of the ultimate existential questions. I suppose the other one would be, do I actually exist? That question is deep, but Who Am I, seems to be something worthy of pondering. Can you actually say who you are? Do you actually have a response?

Challenge yourself to write who you are in one sentence. Then read it out loud. Did you get it right? Probably not, you probably missed the mark a bit. Why? That is a good question. Most people struggle with defining who they are, because either they do not know or are struggling with their identity because too many people are influencing them.

Get in control. The more control you have of your life, the more confidence you will have in asking this question.
