Started my sprint cycle today. Diving in full force with a new running program, new meditation breathing routine, new flexibility and mobility routing and hacking my nutrition plan to be far more macro nutrient focused eating as dense foods as possible. Also adding in a new strength training program that includes daily body weight exercises and a once a week strength training regime. Today is day 1. We will see how it goes! It is always easy starting out!
Of course, I am traveling this week, which makes the effort even more difficult. However, I can find the time if I work on it and do not allow myself to get distracted and stressed out.
I will update the blog on the 12 week progress. The end is culminating in a second marathon, in which I hope to shave off several minutes to my marathon time. I also hope to improve on several of my new key result measures that I have created.
If at the end of the 12 week sprint, I find that I failed in any area then I will know which subsystem requires tweaking. I now have metrics in place that will really help me to see progress being made. Over the next several days, I will be focused on improvements to my daily routine.
Have to change it up! Keep myself on my own toes so to speak! I am not going to let myself get comfortable just because I accomplished something. Now is the time to push harder, not slack off for months. Day 1 is on already! Here we go!
