The 365 Commitment

Delicate Art of Telling Yourself to Wait

The worst decisions are made when you are impatient. When you just do something because you do not want to wait any longer or you are tired of dealing with something. When you want something so bad that you will take very painful, expensive and inappropriate shortcuts to get there. The hardest decision is always telling yourself to wait when you are making an impatient or impulsive decision. Hitting the pause button in a moment of emotional response is probably one of the hardest things you will ever do.

Effectively, what I am saying is that deciding to do nothing when you REALLY want to do something is the hard part in life. The better you get at doing nothing when it matters the most, the more successful you will be in life and the better decisions you will make.
