The 365 Commitment

Day 20 – The Commitment is Growing!

Do not worry – you are not the only one that agreed to keep this commitment everyday for 365 days in a row. The 365 Commitment now has 30 members! With this milestone reached – I think I need to spend a moment and do some housekeeping!

(actually I do, my own house is a wreck, but I really dont care until I care – power of 365!!)

Anyway, a few notes:

1. New Members – you are welcome to ask others to participate. A few important considerations. People do not have to believe in God or share the same faith to follow this commitment. As you will see there are tremendous benefits from following this commitment regardless of your belief. The program requires prayer both in the morning and at night – but that prayer can be replaced with the concept of meditation. Honestly, I think even an atheist has to admit there is something powerful about appealing to a divine presence, or a higher power – something about that elevates the human consciousness! There I go again – getting all philosophical. It is important before someone becomes a member of the group – they have to PROMISE TO KEEP THE COMMITMENT! That is the most important thing – all of us in this group have committed to follow this commitment everyday for at least 365 days in a row. It is ok to miss a day – just pick back up and start again. No harm, no foul – just keep the commitment! Once you have someone committed – send me their name and email address and they will get the same email that I sent to you!

2. Archive – you can read the archive of the daily email blogs going out by going to the Google Group page – https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/365club. The group is private – you have to be a member to view the threads. When we reach 100 members I will probably transition to a new forum. Easy is my goal – that is the spirit of 365.

3. Email the group – no one has the bravery to do that other than me so far – but you are welcome to email the group. The email address is [email protected]. Remember to always put in () the number of days you have kept the commitment. No one will judge you. I have future plans for this number – so I want to keep the habit up! When emailing the group – please be respectful. There are 30 people in a wide range. We have members of every race that I can think of, 4 major religions, some people under 10 and some people over 70. So keep in mind the audience. Above all – keep your comments raw and real. We are learning together the power of the 365!

That is it for now. I hope you created your list this morning. I got an inspiration to call someone this morning, put it down as #1 – and I suspect if the last 20 days proves correct – that is going to turn out to be a very positive story.

Keep the Commitment!
