Day 9 of 84 – You are on the path when…

I think that the most important thing you can do is to get on the path. Many of us wait and wait and wait staring at a few paths and never get started. Or worse, we start on a path find it to be a little difficult and then quickly jump to another path.

However, once you are on a path, how do you know the path is a good one or the right one for you?

1. The path is freaking hard. I mean it just downright sucks. You have to really dig deep and stretch yourself to achieve the minimum which is just to stay in the path. People have disagreed with me on this point. I understand why they say that. Life should be enjoyable, right? Let me answer with this thought. When have been your greatest moments of joy? Probably just after your most definable moments of struggle.

2. You are getting a ton of resistance. Sometime resistance can be a sign that you are doing something wrong. That is true, careful. Resistance can be a warning. However, powerful resistance is usually an indication of the powerful result you have the potential of achieving. Once you believe that what you are doing is ethical, moral, correct and you are getting tremendous resiatence; then be confident. This is the right path

3. Unexpected allies come to your aid. Typically the correct path will turn enemies to friends and friends to enemies. You are becoming aligned with a different course and as you do, you will discover a synergy with new people that recognize that you are also on the path. Finding new friends…correct path.

4. You are improving dramatically. Suddenly, you wake up one day to find a dramatic improvement in some aspect of your life. You have taken a giant leap frog forward. That is the ultimate proof of the path, after a few hundred days on the correct path, improvement is inevitable.

5. You hit a plateau, and the only way past it is complete and total focused and crushing work. That is where I am at. Day 9. Ugh.
