Blog 250 – 365 Framework Subsumes Mere Tasks

My list of goals is bursting at the seams.  So much I want to accomplish! It feels good to have inspiration again and feel positive emotion.  However, emotions come and go.

Regardless of how good I feel (or don’t feel), the most important thing for me to do, is practice my foundational 365 framework daily.  Practicing consistency within my 365 commitment, adhering  to a fundamental framework of good habits, builds character.  Strong Character helps us manage difficult times, and supercharges our efforts when times are good.   Building character is another way of saying growing oneself up – which is one of my overarching goals.

So, this morning’s blog is about the distinction between a the framework of 365 habits vs the pursuit of more transitory goals.  My list of transitory tasks/goals i.e., planting a garden, completing paperwork, etc. is fun and engaging, but it is distinct from my list of daily habits that I choose to build.

Embedded within my 365 habits is the practice of making a list, prioritizing it, and going after items with gusto. But, the higher goal is adherence to what is most important; that which makes up the 365 Commitment framework that smaller goals reside within.
