Day 228 – Encouragement

It is pretty easy to get discouraged in life. After all this is a rough place. Quite literally, only a few decades ago, stepping out into the world could actually kill you.

The world is rough, and interacting with other people is also tough. Most people have their own interests as their top priority and those can sometimes be at odds with yours.

We are also faced with our own fragility, susceptibility to illness, and a variety of reasons why our mood might change and ego get bruised.

All of that said, I cannot believe I allowed myself to enter into this fray of life without being prepared and a clear line of sight to what I wanted to achieve in life.

So you never going to have it great everyday. In fact you will always be suffering in some way. So I think my encouragement is that since I am going to suffer regardless of what I do, I might as well be suffering while building myself into a person capable of more great days.
