Day 255 – Runner Friends

This is my blog dedicated to my new runner friends. I just want my new friends to know that every morning when we cross paths and you give me a slight nod, tip of the hat, ponytail swish or that ever so slight eyebrow raise that you are giving me a boost.

You seem to be acknowledging that you to had to drag yourself out of bed, wrestle with your tangled headset because you forgot to charge your wireless ones and that you too are annoyed that some little crumb is inside the toe of your sock.

I like to think that you are also slightly speeding up your pace when you see me and then slow down quickly there after. Your little acknowledgement is a sign that I am doing good by being out at 5am and pounding the pavement.
