The Path of Resistance – 74 Days Left

The correct path is the path with the most resistance. When you are able to forge a path built on your ability to overcome resistance, than you will be strong. You will truly know and really believe in yourself because you will have a memory of the difficult path you blazed to get where you are at.

You will remember those dark mornings when you were by yourself. You will remember those days when you chose to do something no one else was. You will not fear an obstacle because you have encountered and overcame many like that before. You will have a mental toughness because you chose to take it on despite sickness, despite suffering, despite the pain.

When in doubt, chose the harder path. For no other reason then the knowledge that the harder it is, the more you will grow and the stronger you will be.

Enjoy taking on the most difficult, the most uncomfortable. Relish the struggle. Embrace the Suck. Discover the sweetness of failure. It is only by failure that we truly grow. Our success in life is built upon a mountain of failure. So go and find more ways to fail!

You can only fail by stretching yourself beyond your ability. Adding just one more. Extending by just another. Pushing that extra amount. We have not truly accomplished anything by winning. The real winner is the one that failed and then got back up again and again.

Is what you have chosen to do hard? Then good. Have you failed? Even better. Rise up again today and take it on with full force. You got this. You can take on anything when you know that the aim is failure.

It is on the path of repeated failures where we discover the ultimate success. Such a hard concept to understand and to implement. I dont want to fail, I only want to win, but a bunch of participation awards are getting me nowhere. I need to stretch way beyond my ability, to reach and attempt to grasp the impossible. I will fail, but each time I try I will get closer until one day I can grasp the impossible by the tail and grin with a devilish smile knowing I finally accomplished what I failed so many times trying to achieve.

Are you brave enough, bold enough to choose that path of most resistance? I will tell you this, it starts with keeping the commitment you set for yourself. What is stopping you? Oh, you feel some hesitancy? You have an excuse? Smile big because that is resistance – so now go and do what you committed to anyway. When you can do that everday, you will have found the success to overcoming the mind.
