Funny how much time we spend wringing our hands about fixing this or improving that. Perhaps we should just consider doing what works? I mean quit trying to get around it by coming up with something better, just do what works and move on!
I got this thought because a long meeting I had today at work, but I really started to consider where I might be making things overly complicated in my own personal life. I mean if I know something will get me a result that I want, why don’t I just do it? What is the problem?
Today I participated in a long drawn out discussion covering ideas on how to make things better. That was good, but it is funny how we will jump through all sorts of hoops just to arrive at the simple solution in the first place. Why not just do the simple thing that works and forget all the planning?
