What is your “one guitar?” Do you have a moment that changed your life forever? Sounds romantic, huh?

I think this does actually happen to people from time to time. However, just like this song, just like the stories that you hear they are all myth, make believe, mostly false.

Even the greatest epiphanies of all time, did not end in a dedicated life of peaceful bliss. You hear the stories all the time. Zuckerberg has an idea to connect with his college friends, Dell realized that people would like to buy a pre-configured PC. You hear of the person hit over the head by a tragedy and they turn their life completely around and dedicate themselves to a cause.

These are all stories and partially true. I am sure a kid heard a guitar and decided to be a Rockstar and became one. However, I can absolutely guarantee that was not enough. It may have been the spark but certainly not the fuel. The fuel comes everyday, setback after setback.

Essentially, stop looking for a miraculous epiphany. If you have one, you better stop leaning on it for strength.

Rather you need an epiphany everyday.
