Momentum solves a lot of problems. If you are able to get enough focus and power together to build momentum then you can overcome obstacles faster, and out pace any problems or risks that you perceive. The issue that most of us have is that we do not trust ourselves to keep the momentum going. We do not really believe that the momentum will sustain, and because of that we put the brakes on. However, that can be disastrous. When you slow the momentum down, you allow the problems to catch up with you and you can find yourself treading water and potentially even drowning. When in doubt, always trust momentum and forward trajectory.
