Everyone has these lists of values. They all sound wonderful. Post card perfect. However the more I think this through, my number 1 value is autonomy. I just do not want people telling me what to do. I do not mind people that can advise, consult and perhaps even direct, but at the end of the day…I want a mission and the autonomy to pursue it. Is that too much to ask?
