I visited this village where the inhabitants all live there and also work there. Effectively they live where they work. They make almost everything they need themselves. Metal, wood, linen, pottery, food. Effectively everything essential for life.
As I pondered this, I realized how little we actually need in life. Shelter and food about the only tangible things of absolute necessity. We add on a bunch of other requirements which seem to compound.
Can we mKe life more simple?
