I have been keeping the 365 commitment for 30 days now! Feels like a major accomplishment! The only thing I can think of that I have done 30 days in a row is eat, sleep and brush my teeth! Now that I am at the 30 day mark – I am thinking about my ultimate ambitions, my “end in mind.”
When I started this commitment, I had a vague idea of what I wanted to try to accomplish. I wrote this down, but did not articulate what I wanted to achieve that well. I am starting to get a clear picture of what I want to accomplish in the next 335 days.
Remember this – it is our belief that if you write your goal down, and that goal is in harmony with the will of God (or whatever force you want to be in harmony with), that your goal will happen after following the 365 commitment.
Pretty bold statement – but think about this. If you write the goal down, and you think about it everyday, and you create your plan each and everyday with thoughtful meditation and prayer – I do not think that the concept of you achieving that goal is a stretch.
So 30 days in – I am spending some time to articulate more specifically what I want to achieve and who I want to be. Perhaps adding something similar to your 365 commitment is a good idea?
