Blog 189 – Consistent Food, Sleep, Exercise, Play

Well today is sort of a diary entry, a weekend wrapup of my physicsl camp experience. Weekend workout this morning put a good cap on the week.

Probably the best aspect of the week physically speaking  was consitent excercise, play, and regular sleep and meal schedule.

Even though I did not eat “healthy” per se, the food was good and plentiful and I ate at the same times everyday, three times per day, 14hr fasting from 6pm to 8pm.

Sleep was not the best due to a thin bunk mattress, so lots of tossing and turning, but timing was consistent  in terms of going to bed at 1030 and waking at 6ish.

Friday workout was the toughest crossfit of the week. The theme was the “12 labors of hercules”  which utilized stones for front squats and deadlifts,  interspersed with steep hill running and pushups.

I also played each day of the week, which was a blast! The daily games and competitions and celebrations were uplifting.

The consistency this week (food, sleep, excercise, and play) was soothing and balancing, gratifying. I am grateful!  It is a lesson to bring bring more consistency forward into my weekly routine.
