Day 11 – When focus is needed

A few days I ago, I had a thought that I told the group that it was ok to assign yourself a task to relax. Well today, I realize that sometimes you have to do something that might be really hard, that might require a majority of your attention. When you are in control of your daily task list, and when it is an inspired task list – there are times when it is going to require your focus.

The commitment we are making is not going to remove the requirement to work hard, but it should allow us to focus when focus is needed. Today is one of those days for me. My task list is short – I need focus today. I need to be ok with that and recognize that sometimes solving a problem or rising to a challenge is a necessary part of my success.

So today, I am writing down a few things that are valuable to me and I am putting down a #1 next to the most important thing that I need to accomplish and get past. I will focus today and hopefully learn that this commitment will help me avoid unnecessary distractions and be much more capable because of it.

Good luck everyone rising to the occasion when you need to!
