The great lie. The lie that we tell ourselves over and over again is that I have time. I have time to get that done. I can do that next year. I will eventually get to that. One day I can get going on that. Maybe someday.
There is no tomorrow. There is no someday. There is no time. Time does not exist. Time is a construct that man has created. There is only now. There is only what you are doing. There is no future state where you will finally get to that important thing you know that you should.
You are lying to yourself. The great lie. I have time.
Nope. Sorry. You do not have time. Your lifespan is very short. It will be over before you blink. If you eventually do get to that awesome thing you know that you should, you will not have time to enjoy it. Because there is no time.
We must act on this great truth. You do not have the time. You never will. You cannot make time, you cannot save time. You cannot bank time, earn time or set aside some time. Time just does not exist. There is no time travel, because there is no time. You cannot go back into the past, because there is no past. You cannot leap ahead to the future, because that does not exist either. It is fanciful thinking. You only really have the now.
The only TIME that you actually have is right now. If you are not doing what is important now, then you never will. You must act now. You must do what needs to be done now. You must deal with the problems of today, today. There is no tomorrow, there is only what is in front of you. Make the best of it. Stop spending time on things that have no consequence. Focus on the now because frankly that is all that you really have.
The next moments could be taken from you very easily, and probably will. You think you will eventually get the energy to do something great, you probably wont. You will never be better tomorrow, you can only be better now.
This blog is written from my active conscious mind to my dormant embedded soul. Wake the freak up and start waiting for time. You already have the time, it is right now. So what are you waiting for? Permission?
