Do you start each day with this intent? Perhaps you do not start the day with any intent at all? Do you just let the day come, reacting to what comes at you?
What if you started each day with a clear intent to get the most out of it that you could and you planned accordingly? This concept would change your perspective on the day. You might actually make different decisions.
When you have the ambition to get the most out of the day, you are inclined to the following principles.
You are proactive and not reactive. You decide to work on meaningful things and put them first in your life. You do this rather than allowing others to control your priorities.
You are goal oriented and not task oriented. Your ambition with each day is to accomplish your goals, everyday you are inching closer to success. You do this rather than a focus in individual, non prioritized tasks assigned to you by others.
You pay attention to the important detail and not the trivial. You are more likely to dive into an important project and work out the critical details. You do this instead of allowing the trivial to fill your day with meaningless activity.
When this attitude is repeated each day, you find yourself and your efforts magnified. Your cause is great and your efforts meaningful and effective. In essence, it is a life worth living.
