Blog 142 – Keep It Simple

What is most important today?  This question includes/incorportates, what is most important long-term as well, because the long term can only be impacted by what we do today. So,what is most important today?

For me, it is spending quality time with my family and treating them very well, enjoying a celebration and milestone achievement of my daughters.  For me, it is completing 8 sprints up the hill next to my house because it is now June, and I committed to adding 1 per month until I get to doing 10  sprints.  These really suck!  But I say that with a grin because I always feel pretty studly after I finish doing them each week. I also, have to make-up 50 pull-ups from earlier this week, those really suck too.

So, for me today is a combination of paying close attention to ensure a good time is had by all in terms of family celebration/connection; and that I embrace the suck and complete my physical exercise commitments for this day – which is part of my bedrock 365 Commitment. Onward!

Maybe your 365 Commitment includes strengthening connection with those you love and keeping your core 365 Commitment like me?  Not a bad Saturday if you ask me!  It’s really pretty simple stuff, and not easy, and meaningful.Hope your day is good!
