At an amusement park ride, a roller coaster, always has that long slow climb to an inevitable drop off. This is a plunge, the anticipation is far worse then the actual experience. In fact the actual experience is really rather enjoyable, exciting, and new. Few people experience “the plunge” in their lives and careers. Most probably experience this once maybe twice, but not with all that frequency.
However, I am soft of thinking lately that really successful people will often take the plunge on a more frequent basis. Perhaps even desire it on a more frequent basis. They are not afraid of the risk, in fact often will bask in the anticipation and execution of it. Like dropping billions on the purchase of Twitter, perhaps?
