Hand Wringing. Someone standing indecisive over a difficult decision and wringing their hands together with constant worry about it. They never make a decision, finally, the opportunity for a decision moves along and they are left to wait for the next handwringing decision.
Are we guilty of handwringing? Yes, absolutely we are. All the time. We do not notice it for what it is. We worry ourselves to death. Stress ourselves to indecisiveness.
Better, ponder the decison, make a choice and then go.
