The 365 Commitment

Blog 143 – Race Day

Thinking of my Friend Guy Reams this morning. Guy’s an inspiration to me. Today, he’s running his first marathon in San Diego.

I know Guy, and a year and a half ago, when he  started  his  365 Commitment, he was NOT a runner, and had Never been one . . ever.  Chess player, rhetoratician, entrepreneur, teacher, IT nerd, and many other things sure. But, runner? Not even bud close.

He is Not one of these middle aged people who “used to run track in high school” or college and decide to get back into it. He started from scratch back on Jan 2018. No mucle memory or prior experience to dust off. Nada. Now here we are, 18 months later. And, he’s not just going to complete a marathon (God willing) he’s going to CRUSH it!

I know this because I am a witness to his 365 Commitment to become something greater than he was through incremental daily habit designed to realize a vision of the future. That vision, in fact something far beyond his initial vision, becomes a reality today.  His physical transformation is a testament to the power of The 365 Commitment in his life.

So, hats off to you my friend. On this day, and all days to come,  May the wind be at your back, and may the road rise to meet your feet; and may God bless you and your family.

Thank you for your inspiration and encouragement!

Thanks Ben. I did it. Met my goal, in the time I expected. The future vision became reality.
