Day 50 – Forming Habits

The purpose of me starting this commitment was to drive myself to form the best habit I could think of. 50 days in and I am realizing why you really cannot call something a habit until after 60 to 90 days of repetition. It is becoming a lot easier after 50 days but in order for this to become a permanent habit I have to make it through the things that come up during the normal course of life. I have had to keep this commitment through a death in my family, a family trip, business travel, sickness, and through a few stressful times where I had to meet a deadline. All of these are reasons why I would normally lose focus and would no longer keep a habit going.

So I don’t have a habit yet, but I am looking forward to the habit solidifying over the next 30 days.
