Day 209 – Know What You are Working On

Everyday when you wake up you should probably know what the super important high priority things are in your life and then ask yourself the question – how exactly am I going to get closer to those today? What am I going to do to achieve what I really want in life? The point of this blog is to remind myself of something super critical. If you do not know what you want, there is no way you are going to work on the right things each day to get there. Here is the simple formula.

Step 1 – Figure out who you want to be or what you want

Step 2 – Determine what you need to achieve or do to get you to that point

Step 3 – Every morning as part of the 365 commitment ask yourself, what am I going to do today to get the right things done to achieve my goal.

Step 4 – Have the faith to abandon the trivial things bogging you down and focus on doing what you committed to and follow up with yourself at the end of the day.

This is dedication. This is purpose. This is knowing what you want and actually working on it.
