Day 322 – Make Decision Final

So I know the drill, really well. You have made a decision to finally do something to improve an aspect of your life. You are going to eat better, exercise more, spend more time with family, get control of your spending, become more spiritual, etc…

However, is that decision final? For example, the only real way to quit smoking is to quit forever. If you give your addictive brain an out it will find a way to find an excuse or a circumstance that warrants smoking again. You have to give it up permanently.

Same with a new habit you want to start, which is probably harder then quitting smoking. You see quitting is about abstinence, starting something takes a massive amount of inertia. Like a boat coming up on plane.

So you make the commitment, the decision to start something new. Please recognize that the first 90 days are the absolute hardest. You will have to plow through. The only way however that this will truly work is 9f you are committed forever. Make the decision final.

Example, you decide that you want to start the 365 commitment. You must commit and force yourself to incorporate the pattern into your life and not give yourself an out.

I absolutely promise that one you have figured out how to develop the first habit, have made it well past 90 days in a row, it will just become part of your life. Weak things will now be strengths to you.

I venture to say that you really are not living, or even able to access your potential until you can master your physical and mental barriers with consistent habit formation.

Start today. Make your decision final.
