Day 352 – Just Get It Done

Because it is Christmas, I am busy doing family things. I obviously want to spend as much time as possible with my family and I have lots of things to get done today.

I also have my daily routine to consider. Now, I could easily decide that today is special and that would be a good excuse for skipping a day (or two). However, I have a better alternative. Rather then giving myself an excuse day, I just woke up early and got all my commitments done. I did not drag it out, I just got it done.

See instead of allowing the holiday to set me back in my commitment, I use it as an opportunity to accelerate my performance. Here I am, getting my entire 365 list done for the day before 8am. Now I can really kick back and hang with my family!
