Blog 128 – Rainy Day

The rain is finally here, been waiting all night and morning and it is good to hear the steady rain fall. I think I will make a fire in the fire place and focus on getting my house in order today. Cleaning, organizing, and eating comfort food at the top of my list this morning, along with maintaining my basic commitments: writing this blog, exercising, today is chest shoulders and triceps, so I will do my 100 pushups after I finish writing this morning.

Two kids are down with the flu, so I have put them on a strict diet of pancakes and flounder, which is the only foods that I can slip under the door (haha – joke!). Being sick is no joke though, and I hope I don’t catch this flu that seems to be going around.

I wish I had something more inspiring to say today, but that I just don’t. Too many distractions this morning, and the dog just knocked the trash over, and the garage door opener is malfunctioning, and my oldest kid just called, and a recruiter is after me for a job . . . and I can’t seem to think of anything inspiring to write about today. So, I’m just going to light a fire in the fireplace and make my list. Good enough – keep to the basics!
