Blog 249 – A Perfect Day

I have one more chance to live a perfect day.  Right now, this day, is that chance.  By “perfect” I don’t mean that the external world is perfect, or that great and wonderful things will happen to me; I mean that my internal life, what I choose to do is perfect.  If I notice that I an drifting off the path, then I course correct, quickly.  That would be perfect!

Today I avoid idleness. Today I avoid depression.  Today I avoid distraction. Today I avoid fear and negative thinking.

Today I grow myself up a little bit more.  Today I help someone else and provide service.  Today I am a giver. Today I keep my commitments.  It’s as simple as that.  If I can manage that, then I will consider this a perfect day.

As I awoke this morning at 4:30, I was struck by the ambition to live a perfect day, and I was grateful to have that chance. It’s now 6:06, so far so good.  My morning endurance training has been completed, yes! And this blog is just about wrapped up.

Living out my day focused on doing what is most meaningful and important is  what The365Commitment helps me do.  Maybe it can help you too?  Aspire to have one perfect day, chase it down and make it happen, one moment at a time.
