Practice Breathing

I am on this new kick of trying to improve my breathing. I know that sounds really new age and hippie, but seriously, breathing is REALLY freaking important. I find myself exhausted at the end of a long day of phone calls, and I have been wondering why. After some analysis, it occurred to me that I am not breathing all that well. In fact, I think I actually hold my breath sometimes while I am sitting and working. I am all hunched over, intensely pounding out emails on my keyboard and quite literally holding my breath. So I have decided to build into my day, practice sessions where I actually focus on breathing in and out correctly. It only takes a few moments, but it has a surprising impact. Reminds me of who I am, and what I am doing, is somewhat calming and allows me to refocus my energy. I feel a little bit less tired than normal, we will have to see what several days of repetitive breathing practice will do for my over all physical reaction.

Will let you know. Part of my 100 day plan.
