Today is the national cheat day. Where all the super health freaks take the day off and stop posting on social media for us all to see how awesome they are. Well, never mind, I just got an update from Pokimane. I think she might be livestreaming her grateful reaction to all her adoring fans for including her in a marathon day of playing Valorant. Somehow she stays perky, cute and excited all the time despite playing video games 24X7. How does she do that? Whenever I have played a video game for any length of time, I have become a lethargic, listless, depressed slob. At any rate today is cheat day.

Except that it is not.

I still have to do my 365 commitment – because every day is everyday.

I still have to write this blog – because every day is everyday.

I still get to do my morning run – because every day is everyday.

I still read something inspiring – because every day is everyday.

I still keep my other habits – because today is no exception.

The baseline, the core is what you do everyday. What you commit to, what you do as a habit no matter what. That is effectively who you are and what you will become.

There are no cheat days for that!
