Driving through Southwest Arizona, thinking about famous western figures. Saw a quote by Wyatt Earp in a restaurant this afternoon, “There is nothing so sacred as honor, nothing’s so loyal as love.”
You just do not hear about these values of honor, or even love these days. You hear lots about justice, and equity, and fairness. Seems like honor has taken a place along with the relics of our past that people ignore.
Loyalty to those that you love, holding one’s own honor in high regard. Personal responsibility, personal integrity. Do those values matter any longer? I hope so!?
