Getting better requires a long cycle of ups and down. You go up, then you go down. You go up again, then you go down. Your peaks get a little higher then they ever have been and eventually your lows are not so low any more. This is the normal way for improvement to occur. However, if you are consistent enough over a long period of time, then you will enjoy a leap, a sudden leap of improvement. This usually puts you on a completely different level and now suddenly your peaks and valleys from before seem trivial. This only comes when you have gone through the ups and downs of improvement for an extended period of time without quitting. Guy
