You have a great idea. It is exciting. It is awesome. You need to do this and that. You need to buy this and that. Your life will be so much better with this idea. First you will do this, then you will do that and voila your life is awesome. Here is a piece of free wisdom coming straight from the school of hard knocks. Write that idea down on a piece of paper, put it in a box, maybe even gift wrap it and put it on the shelf. Then schedule a date in the future, maybe 2 weeks from now, and call the appointment, open box on shelf. When that date comes and you open the box and you still think the idea is awesome, then maybe, just maybe you should act on it.
