Confidence Crosses Many Chasms

Youthful confidence allows us to do things that our older selves would never do. Confidence in general allows us to run past many dangers that would prevent us from even progressing if we could see that we were really facing. Sometimes just going blindly toward a goal that is extremely ambitious is the only real way to be successful. Confidence gives you the ability to do that, to see only forward with blinders on towards fears, real and imagined.

So perhaps we need to regain our youthful optimism and take a good healthy dose of foolish ignorance. Guy
