This morning, I’ve spent much of my allotted blog writing time fixing my blog post from yesterday. Yesterday, my deadline was rushed. So today I went back and re-read it, and found it really needed some help! So, I knocked some of the rough edges off and managed to create more coherence. I think its better now, here is the link: http://www.the365commitment.com/2019/05/11/blog-123-we-know-what-works-work-it/
This has me thinking about the utility of going back to fix things vs just moving forward into the new and letting the past slide away. I think my decision to fix it is based on the reality that that yesterday’s blog will not slide away. It is available for reading and retrieval in tangible and exact form right now, as the link above proves. It is also something that can be changed, even though it was yesterdy’s blog, its still accessible, it is still in the present.
So, whether or not something is in the past or still in the present determines whether or not we can change it. The past cannot be changed, but what was created in the past that is still with us can absolutely be changed! My reality that I am experiencing right now is the product of a past, a created thing that can be modified and fixed.
Let go of past performance and actions but do not neglect to address the results of those actions that still are present. The word atonement comes to mind. Fix your creations, and focus on right action moving forward.
