Day 32 – What do you really want?

The 365 commitment is going to help you get many important things done. You are probably already experiencing success. The more serious you make the commitment of prayerfully deciding upon a list each morning the more you will get out of it.

Be careful not to fall into bad habits. I can predict the trap you will fall into. Really quickly scribbling out a few tasks, mumbling through a half hearted prayer with one hand on your car keys. That is a trap, don’t fall into that habit.

How? Here is my guidance and what I am trying to do to avoid this “going through the motions trap.”
I have thought through what I really want to achieve, and each morning I consider my tasks. Is what I am choosing to spend my time on today going to get me what I want? Or if you are of a more humble persuasion, what God wants?

Spend an extra 5 minutes, put down the cell phone, close the email down, shut off the TV and sit quietly with your list and ask yourself these questions. Believe me, your life ambitions are worth taking an extra 5 minutes!
