Day 245 – No Apologies

Woke up this morning and my mind was my worst enemy again. Grumpy, tired, unmotivated poopoo head did not want to run.

However, I embraced the suck and laced up the shoes and stepped out the door. I listened to random YouTube videos in desperate hope and as luck would have it, I landed on a David Goggins video.

His concept was to not make any apologies for who you are and who you are trying to be. Just wake up every morning with the idea that you are going to get to the outcome of who you want to be and to not give a #!@& what other people think about it.

He is right of course and he was saying this at around his 800th push up. He does 17 a minute roughly for 1 hour. 15 seconds followed by 45 second breaks.

I am at 195. Following his paradigm, I was able to finish in 12 minutes. I overcame my mental lame self and I make no apology for what I am attempting to do! Thanks David!
