A conclusion that you have to reach to achieve your goals in life is that if you want something, you have to put in the time. Nothing ever comes to reality unless we put effort toward the objective. We can sit around and hope and wonder about what it would be like to achieve something, but unless you actually put in the time and effort, it is just not going to happen.

I have also noticed that I can dream up how easy it would be to accomplish something. I think romantically, awh, it would be cool to have an awesome podcast. I dream of how easy it would be, what process I would follow. I day dream about the guests that I would invite, what my interview style would be like and all that. All these dreams, are just fiction until you actually commit the time. A funny thing happens when you start committing the time, you realize how hard it is to achieve something good. The number one ingredient is commitment of time. It maybe easy to do, but no matter what, you will not become good at it until you put in the time.

I am a pretty decent chess player, and I could become really good at it. I can see the path to getting there, however, here is the issue. I will NEVER become really good unless I commit the time. All good chess players spend time playing chess. Fill the word chess in for whatever you want to accomplish in life. All good sales people spend time selling in front of clients. When someone is struggling in sales, you can almost predict the exact problem. The only good sales people are people that spend time in front of clients and repeat, repeat, repeat until they become really good at it. All good runners run. All good Catholics go to Mass. You get the idea.

The same goes with almost anything in life. You become good, then great by committing the time. You can have some natural talent, sure, but that will pale in comparison to someone that commits the time. There is no way around this. It is absolute. A law that is irrevocable. It is permanent and might as well be written in the sky. You cannot become good until you commit time.
