An interesting concept to consider as we bring in a new year. Instead of thinking about developing new habits, rather consider developing new hobbies. However, instead of unproductive time wasting hobbies, start new hobbies that also help improve an aspect of your life.

For example, you might create the physical fitness hobby. Something you like and want to do that will also keep you in shape. Another example might be a financial hobby. Instead of fantasy football, create a hobby that focuses you on a financial investment strategy instead. Make a hobby out of it, have fun, devote time to it and you will improve your financial situation at the same time.

Another hobby to consider is one that brings you closer to one or more family members. A shared thing that brings you together often. A worthwhile hobby is one you do with a loved one.

I imagine that you can consider hobbies in various areas of your life. Spiritual, mental, physical, emotional, financial and others. Hobbies are something you like to do and therefore require less motivation.
