So the little crappy things have a tendency to make the most noise. We tend to focus on them to squelch them, and as a consequence think we are going to get rid of them for good. The opposite happens, they overwhelm us and they keep coming. Due to the attention, they increase. Pretty soon we spend all of our time with the crappy things and we IGNORE the best things. The best things start to feel like we do not like them and they tend to leave our lives.
