Good Response Can Be Bad

Sometimes you think you are making a good response, when in actuality the response is bad. We intend to do good, but out attention to the matter makes it worse. Sort of like our bodies immune system. Your white blood cells will attempt to protect against infection from foreign organisms by surrounding the foreign item in an attempt to get rid of it. This works great for serious infection, but when the response is non-specific and attacking anything foreign, you can get inflammation in your tissues and overall function of the human body suffers. In our lives, we can also fall to the same concept. We focus on anything that comes our way with attention that we think is good, but by so doing, find ourselves overwhelmed, distracted and distraught. Thus we produce the opposite of what we intended.
