Strive for success while pushing yourself to failure.

We should strive for success, while pushing for failure. Failure is what builds strength. Repeated failure over the course of a long period of time creates the resolve and determination necessary to be ultimately successful. This feels like a contradiction, but it is actually the process. Too many times we avoid failure at all costs, when in actuality we should be pushing ourselves to and past the point of failure. This is the way of organic growth.

We are definitely organic beings, so why would it be any different for us? If we were talking weight lifting, you would completely agree on this point. You would accept the science behind the tearing and breaking down of muscles tissue, in order for it to be rebuilt stronger. The human psyche, brain function is no different than that. You push to failure and then rebuild, it is how you grow. There is a reason why every sucessful person you meet will talk about their failures along the way. The failures are what taught them.

Failure, as it is determined, is actually the path. Allowing for, building around, anticipating and expecting failure is the key ingredient for any success. Instead of avoiding failure, we should embrace it. Relish in failure, because each time you fail, you know you have pushed yourself past your capabilities and now it is time to rebuild again into something stronger.

The mantra is: try…fail…try…fail…try…fail…try…fail…try…fail…try…fail…try…success!!
