The pricetag for a commitment is your whole soul.

The pricetag for a commitment is your whole soul. There is no such thing as half a commitment. You simply cannot be partially committed. The concept just does not exist. The universe does not accept a luke warm, casual shrug as being serious. If you want to gain any return at all from being committed then your only option is to go all in.

Jesus, probably one of the foremost authorities on commitment, taught that “No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other.” This ancient lesson still rings true to this day, you simply cannot be half in. It does not work like that.

I could debate this concept, but life experience has convinced me of this truth. I really do not need to know why, or how this is true. It is just is. After a life time of trying to accomplish things, I have learned that having one foot in and one foot out does not count. You can only claim to be “in” by jumping in feet first. So if you really want to be committed. If you really want to gain the benefits, or see the success of your effort then you have only one choice. Fully commit.

A commitment does not understand, “sorta.” A commitment does not understand, “kinda.” You are either in or out, so what is it going to be? The sooner you decide and remove yourself from other partial pledges, the faster you will reap the benefit from your dedicated and focused effort.

Anyone suffering from worry, concern, anxiety, are often times paralyzed between two worlds because they just simply have not made the decision they know they must make. Make the call. Go in with your whole soul and shed the fear, anxiety, and concern. When you jump in feet first, you know longer have time to fret over the decision because now you will be swimming for your life.

The best time to commit is right now. Stop waiting for whatever you think you are waiting for. It is not going to come. Act now. Decide. Commit with everything you have.
