If you are going to do something, why not commit to it with your whole soul? Put your full heart into it?
Felt a little down on myself this last few days because I have not been gaining as much benefit from my commitments as usual. As I examine my life, I realize that in many cases that I am just going through the motions.
What were to happen if instead of begrudging the activity, I committed myself fully to the endeavor? If I decide in the morning to do something, then I should with confidence commit everything I have to accomplishing that task. I should have faith that there is nothing better for me to be doing in that particular moment then what I decided upon in the morning.
If I really want to see benefits from an activity that I have decided to engage in, then I need to dedicate my whole soul. In this manner I will gain the maximum benefit from that activity and accomplish far more in a shorter period of time.
It is when I drag my feet, and draw out an activity with only a partial commitment that I get the job done, eventually, but do not realize the benefits.
I think this is the next level for me in this 365 commitment. I need to commit to each activity I decide upon and really strive to commit my whole soul to accomplishing them.
