Well I am a proud husband. My wife passed the California Bar Examination today. I could make a few jokes at my own expense, but suffice to say that it has been quite the journey for us as a family. I think that we have all learned some major lessons during this last 4 years. I will say this, however, in celebration of this moment. It was amazing to be in the back seat support role as I watched someone I love push herself harder then she had ever been pushed in her life. She did not have to do this, there was no monetary reason, it was just a childhood dream. She basically decided to go and accomplish what she had always wanted to do since she was a young girl. I cannot think of anything more inspiring then someone taking on a incredible task, brutally difficult and even soul crushing at times and succeeding despite all the setbacks. She could have quit, and probably wanted to, many times. However she stuck with it, fought hard, and now at the end of all that work got one simple little four letter word as her prize…..PASS.
I am inspired. I know my children are. No matter how old, how young, or what our condition we can always take on a challenge and become something greater than we are.
