I woke up early, before the alarm at 4:29. I got out of bed quickly this time and made it down stairs. I remembered to turn off the alarm on the way downstairs, that always saves time. I remembered everything, even socks! I got my son up, mixed my protein shake. Things went quickly, everything was easily found. I did my 365 commitment, prayed and felt inspired. I read a spiritual passage, and actually felt like it applied to me this time. My son and I did 30 minutes of calisthenics before dawn. It was cold, but I worked hard. I was able to complete all the exercises, and I even did a pushup at the end of my bear crawls. I downed an electrolyte shake that actually tasted good and then woke my daughters up. They did not complain! We got out the door at precisely 6am and we completed our run, in time and with room for breakfast. I ate oatmeal, with peanut butter and protein powder and danced around the kitchen to a 90s hip hop song.
I only had 15 teams calls today, and only had to look at 6 reports today. I had a conversation where I actually laughed, and even enjoyed a few others. I took some time to focus on something important to me and was able to plan a cool trip for my family. My wife brought me lunch and it was yummy. I was able to hire a new person today and even won a nice deal. I only got 5 complaints today that were unsolvable and 2 complaints that I could solve. I found out that I made a bad decision yesterday, but the damage was not that bad. I am now ending my day precisely at 5 and will probably spend some time with my kids, might even hit the spa latter before I do my evening wrap up.

Yup – today was a good day.
