Today my wife took the oath to uphold both the U.S and California constitutions and thereby became an official member of the California Bar and an officer of the Court. She is now officially an attorney. What started as a woman deciding to do something about her childhood dreams, culminated in a single moment where she repeated the words of an oath administered by a California Superior Court Judge.

It seems that anything super important, something monumental and life changing should end and begin with an oath. Think of how many oaths you have taken, and what they were for.
